EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., December 28, 2011 – Has recovery finally taken hold? What commercial real estate opportunities and trends will play out in 2012? Those questions and more will be answered by a panel of experts at NAIOP New Jersey's Annual Meeting and Real Estate Forecast, slated for January 24 at the Sheraton Meadowlands, East Rutherford, N.J.

Andrew Houston of Cassidy Turley will moderate the highly topical discussion, with Brian Townsend of CenterPoint Properties and Rutgers economist James Hughes confirmed as speakers. Additional speakers are being finalized.

"This event is always an outstanding networking and informational opportunity," said Michael G. McGuinness, CEO of NAIOP New Jersey. "That is particularly important for the industry's '35 and under' Developing Leaders, and we encourage all to register for this event."

Also on the evening's agenda are the election of NAIOP New Jersey’s officers and trustees for 2012, and announcement of the recipients of the 2012 Commercial Real Estate Awards, to be presented on May 17 at the organization’s Annual Gala. The winner of the Gala Design Competition and the winning design will also be announced.
