Bel Air Real Estate Statistics for December 2010

Today I will be focusing on the Bel Air MD area. I chose the 21015 zip code for this report.

Bel Air MD is located in Harford County MD. I obtained my stats from MRIS.com.

Well folks here it is! This is quite an interesting report to say the least. OK, in 2009 we sold $5,2878,883 worth of real estate. This number skyrocketed to $11,540,715 in December 2010! This is a 118.25% increase. The average sales price increased as well. It was a 5.82% increase to $349,719 for 2010. This next number is very interesting. In 2009 we sold 16 homes in that zip code. In Dec. 2010 we sold 33! This is a 106.25% increase! Needless to say, this is a great indicator. The last number I will discuss is "Days on the Market". We had a 152% increase for December 2010. You would like this number to decrease. The fewer days, the better. We will simply have to wait and see!
